‘Tis the season to be jolly and thankful, and well-fed and warm. ‘Tis also the season to give to those who may be less fortunate-and more hungry-by taking advantage of The Salvation Army’s many volunteer opportunities. Start your volunteer work with Ringing The Bell, Angel Tree, or serving on Thanksgiving or Christmas to feed the needy-and hopefully your altruism will linger well past the holidays. For more information or to sign up, please contact Michelle Scroggins, Community Relations Director, at 501-374-9296.

    Ringing Bells Make Change…

The Red Kettles and bell ringers are perhaps the most visible community-wide Salvation Army program. However, during the holidays the results from the nickels, dimes, and dollars put into the kettles provides funds to allow us to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, respond to disasters, make Christmas special to needy families, and so much more!

To reserve your favorite kettle location and date call, Michelle Scroggins 501-374-9296 or email

We never have enough volunteers to man the kettles throughout the season so we hire seasonal workers to fill in gaps. If you need or know someone who needs seasonal employment and can stand long hours outside in winter weather you might consider applying to be a paid bell ringer. You must come to 1111 W. Markham St. Little Rock, AR 72201 to apply in person.

    We are Hiring Seasonal Drivers!

Please come to 1111 W. Markham in Little Rock to complete an application. Please contact Veronica Dockery if you have questions.
