The homeless population in Northwest Arkansas is on the rise. As our community continues to grow so do the needs of people. Here at the Salvation Army, we work with individuals on a daily basis to meet needs and provide hope. We have two emergency shelters, in Bentonville and Fayetteville. In all, we have beds for 72 people (men, women and children) and have the option of creating additional space in times of need or cold weather. We work with sheltered and unsheltered guests to help provide permanent housing, food, and shelter. Pictured is the homeless statistics for the state of Arkansas as part of the 2017 Homeless study. The 2018 survey and count took place on January 25, 2018. We will provide more details on this count when it is available.
